who’s behind pam’s club?

Hi, I’m Eleonore, the founder of Pam’s Club. I’m a Belgian native living in Los Angeles and I’m also a former lawyer turned clinical sexologist; two very different hats, I know!

As a teenager, I went to an all-girls boarding school, and back then, I didn’t know how it would shape my life – as high school does for most of us – but also my career path. Living with my friends was a lot of fun. But what was amazing was how freely and openly we shared how we were discovering life, our bodies, and ourselves. There was no social pressure, disgust, shame, or taboo, just advice, support, and excitement. I learned so much in our safe space, especially about sex and sexuality. The onset of my sexual journey was thus built on discussions, questions, and sharing. And I thought that’s how it was for every teenager.

I quickly learned it wasn’t. And I learned it the hard way.

The first few times I talked about sexuality at university, I was confused by the silence that followed. I had to be told that I was being inappropriate. I was stunned; the weight of the taboo hit me like a wall. Yet, friends would seek me out behind closed doors to talk about their questions and concerns around sex. They knew I considered it a topic like any other. No disgust, shame, taboo, just a listening ear, and friendship – at least I did my best. And that’s when I realized that, in silence or not, we are all going through the same experiences, doubts and issues. And how much happier we would be if we felt less alone on our journey.

It left its mark on me. And it’s precisely what fueled my determination to study Clinical Sexology.

It took me a few years to take the plunge to enroll again at university. And it took me a few more to leave law and start my own sexual well-being company - Pam’s Club. And here I am today with a bold ambition and a dream: for every one to enjoy a free, happy, and fulfilling sex life!
